Hey hey! I’m Shelbi - first-time mom, chronic outfit repeater and Amazon scroller by night. If you’re here, you probably love a good deal, live in athleisure half the week, and consider coffee a love language. Same, sister!
So, this blog is going to be my cozy little corner of the internet where I’ll be sharing affordable outfits, mom-life chaos, true girlhood struggles, book recs, home decor, recipes and probably too many links to things I found at 11pm (and definitely didn’t need but ordered anyways). Welcome to the shit show.
I recently quit my corporate healthcare job to becomes a full-time stay at home mom. Honestly, I started this blog for a lot of reasons, (therapy outlet, expressing my creative side, sharing my love for all things shopping, etc.) but mostly to share real life in a way that makes at least one person who reads, feel seen, understood and of course to share my online shopping obsession. I genuinely love finding budget friendly “throw on and go” fashion that still feels cute. When people ask me where my outfit is from, half the time it’s Amazon (and the other half, probably Target or Free People).
Also, being a woman is a lot!! It’s beautiful, powerful, messy and complicated - and somehow we look back and realize that we CAN do it all. Somedays we feel like we’re thriving, crushing goals, and glowing from the inside out. Other days? We’re just trying to make it to bedtime with everyone fed, somewhat clothed and hopefully we can avoid a menty b. We are all girls who had to grow up too fast. Wives trying to keep the love alive. Moms who miss the versions of ourselves that had more time to dream. And humans, forgetting that we are just doing life for the first time too.
THIS is why I wanted to start this blog. Not for validation or perfection. Im here to create a safe space where you as a reader can come as you are - on your best day, your breakdown day, or your dry shampoo for the third time day. A space where we can talk about REAL LIFE. I’ll be writing about my true and raw feelings about life as it happens, sharing my favorite fashion + home finds, and everything in between. This is my outlet the same way I hope it’s an outlet for you too. Come read, relate, laugh, cry or just realize you actually aren’t alone at all. Shoot, majority of these blogs will probably be written from the nursery rocking chair, with a baby in one arm.
So whether you’re here to scroll, share, cry a little, laugh a lot, or just feel like you’re not in this alone, this is our tiny little corner of the internet to just be girls. Let’s yap. Let’s grow together. Heck, let's start a book club!

A few (very simple) things about me:
I love Jesus, but I do have a mouth like a sailor lol - can’t be everyone’s cup of tea.
I’m so type A it’s scary, but I also thrive in chaos. Make it make sense.
I tend to be a neutral girly, but I’m trying (like, really trying) to embrace some color.
My husband and I eloped and kept it a secret - that’s tea for another day ;)
I don’t believe there is ever a wrong time for a drive thru drink.
I have a new built-in bestie named Shepherd - aka Shep, Shep Man, Sheppy, Tiny Tornado (& on his worst days) lil A-hole!
I’m a spender who wishes she had saved LOL.
I love a good trash TV show - Summer House, Love Island, Housewives… you name it I’m yapping about it.
Speaking of yapping, nothing beats a good drink (coffee or wine) on the porch with your girls, just yapping about all the things - I’ll die on this hill.
